New England Village, www.newenglandvillage.org, contracted Grady Consulting to provide engineering and permitting services for a Day Habilitation Center. This included a Site Plan and Definititve Subdivision Plans with the Kingston Planning Board. It also involved environmental permitting for a "limited project" intermittent stream crossing and addressing vernal pool concerns with the Kingston Conservation Commission. The design of the site included a Low Impact Development drainage system consisting of rain gardens and infiltration systems. Construction began in October 2011 with occupancy anticipated in 2012.

Proposed Subdivision

Kallio Path
Pembroke, Massachusetts

Grady Consulting prepared plans and applications for a definitive 8 lot subdivision at 21 Monroe Street adjacent to Tubbs Meadow which is part of the Bay Circuit Trail (a foot path around suburban Boston).

The proposed project included an 830 foot long road with a cul-de-sac and the creation of 8 new lots. A drainage system, including 6 catch basins, 6 manholes, a Stormceptor© and an infiltration basin, was designed to control stormwater run-off for the roadway and site. The Stormceptor© is designed to treat the stormwater prior to discharging into the infiltration basin.

Plans and applications were prepared for the Pembroke Planning Board (Definitive Subdivision Plan) and the Pembroke Conservation Commission (Notice of Intent). The Notice of Intent was filed for the roadway construction in the 100' buffer zone of the existing bog and pond. Construction of the roadway was completed in the summer of 2011.

Proposed Subdivision and Site Plan

1265 Ferry Street
Marshfield, Massachusetts

Bridgewaye RestaurantGrady Consulting prepared plans and applications for a definitive 10-lot subdivision and Site Plan at the Bridgewaye Restaurant along the South River.

The proposed project decreased the size of the existing restaurant and parking area which allowed for the construction of White’s Ferry Landing and the creation of 7 new lots, including an office used for the White’s Ferry Marina along the South River.

Plans and applications were prepared for the Town’s Planning Board (Definitive Subdivision Plan), Zoning Board of Appeals (special permit), and the Conservation Commission (Notice of Intent). The Notice of Intent was filed as a redevelopment project since it removed a large parking area inside the Riverfront Area and provided treatment via a stormceptor to the existing drainage system on Ferry Street which previously discharged to the South River without treatment.
